Dubai, UAE: The UAE has introduced an enhanced procedure to simplify sick leave attestation and approval, reducing paperwork and making the process more convenient for employees and patients. Under the updated system announced by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), hospitals and healthcare facilities will now submit sick leave attestation requests directly to the ministry on behalf of patients and their companions.
The new process removes the need for individuals to initiate attestation applications themselves. Eligible requests that meet the required conditions will also move automatically from attestation to the approval stage, eliminating the need for a separate application.
