In a recent conversation with the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Dr. Dalim Al-Hajri, the President of the Kuwaiti Urology Association, proudly affirmed Kuwait’s remarkable achievements in the fields of urology and medicine.

Dr. Al-Hajri shared this insight during his participation in the 20th Annual Conference of the Asian Society of Urology, held in Dubai. The conference attracted 250 international experts and over 2,500 participants from 75 countries and concluded on Sunday.
Dr. Al-Hajri stressed that Kuwait had become a focal point for urologists and surgeons from the Arab world and beyond. He also declared that Kuwait would host the 20th Arab annual conference. Alongside the 16th Kuwaiti annual urology conference in November, with international participation. This declaration underscored Kuwait’s commitment to advancing its healthcare sector. Dr. Al-Hajri expressed gratitude for the support and attention from the political leadership and the Ministry of Health.
He highlighted Kuwait’s substantial presence at the conference, which ranks as the third largest in the world. Kuwaiti experts in urology, endoscopy, and robotics actively contributed to the event with working papers, scientific lectures, and discussion sessions. Dr. Al-Hajri pointed out that this conference holds a prominent position in the field, not only in Asia but also globally.

Furthermore, Dr. Dalim Al-Hajri conveyed the Kuwaiti Association of Urology’s commitment to playing an active role in international and regional conferences. They plan to engage through scientific seminars, lectures, training workshops, and research presentations.
The Asian Society of Urology
The Asian Society of Urology was founded in 1990 in Fukuoka, Japan, and is headquartered in Singapore. It promotes urology in Asia, with 25 Asian national associations, including the Kuwaiti Association of Kidney and Urology.
