Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Bupa CareConnect, the healthcare delivery arm of Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Company, is strengthening integrated healthcare in Saudi Arabia through a connected model that combines digital consultations, home diagnostics, medication delivery, virtual care, and chronic disease management.
Since launching its digital consultation services in 2024, the platform has recorded more than a fivefold increase in virtual consultations, reflecting growing demand for accessible, technology-enabled healthcare solutions.
To improve access and continuity of care, Bupa CareConnect has partnered with Al Borg Diagnostics to provide home laboratory testing and collaborated with pharmacy chains including Nahdi Pharmacy and Al-Dawaa to enable home delivery of medications. These partnerships help simplify diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while improving the overall patient experience.

The platform’s chronic care management programmes, particularly for diabetes, have demonstrated positive health outcomes through early diagnosis, coordinated treatment, and continuous monitoring. Members can also enrol in preventive care programmes through digital channels, supporting long-term disease prevention and health management.
At the core of the ecosystem is the Bupa Digital Clinic, which provides 24/7 virtual consultations with Saudi physicians across more than 12 medical specialties. Supported by AI-powered digital tools, the platform promotes treatment adherence, enhances continuity of care, and improves patient engagement.
By integrating prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up into a seamless digital healthcare journey, Bupa CareConnect is advancing Bupa Arabia’s transition from a health insurer to an integrated healthcare provider while supporting Saudi Vision 2030’s goals of building a more efficient, sustainable, and patient-centred healthcare system.
