Khan Younis, Gaza Strip: Medical teams at a field hospital in southern Gaza have performed more than 7,000 surgeries since the facility opened in November 2023, providing critical healthcare amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The hospital treats 700 to 1,000 patients daily through emergency, surgical, specialist, and prosthetic services, helping ease pressure on local healthcare facilities. Since June 2026, it has also managed 10 to 15 amputation cases each day and delivered more than 1,200 prosthetic limbs through the Restoring Hope Society campaign.
