March 2026- The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security held a coordination meeting with the UAEโs Ministry of Health and Prevention to explore opportunities for cooperation in the exchange of data related to birth and death records. The discussion is part of national efforts to strengthen the UAEโs identity and population registry system and improve the accuracy and timeliness of national data.
The meeting was attended by Suhail Jumabin Kaltham Al Khaili, Acting Director General of Citizenship at ICP, and Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, along with senior officials from both entities. The two sides discussed enhancing integration between their systems to support more efficient population data management.
