Catherine Stoddart has been recognised with the Lifetime Achievement Honour Award at the 2026 WA Nursing and Midwifery Awards for her outstanding contributions to healthcare and nursing leadership in Western Australia.
The prestigious award honours individuals with more than 40 years of service to healthcare and nursing leadership across the state.
Dr Stoddart currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Brightwater Care Group and is a Board Member of the WA Country Health Service. She has previously held senior leadership roles with the WA Department of Communities, Northern Territory Health, and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

โDr Stoddartโs dedication to improving healthcare outcomes and supporting vulnerable communities has made a lasting impact across the healthcare sector,โ the organisation stated.
The award adds to her previous honours, including the 2011 Telstra Western Australia Businesswoman of the Year Award and the 2013 Australian Public Service Medal.
North Metropolitan Health Serviceโs Graeme Boadley was also recognised as a joint winner of the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Honour Award.
