The Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2026 has extended its nomination deadline to 11 January as global participation from nurses across more than 200 countries continues to grow.
The Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2026, an initiative of Aster DM Healthcare, has announced an extension of its nomination deadline to 11 January 2026. The programme has already recorded more than 134,000 registrations from 214 countries, reflecting its expanding global presence and strong engagement from the international nursing community. Nurses worldwide are invited to submit their nominations through the official platform.

The upcoming edition of the award will be hosted in New Delhi, India, underscoring its growing international profile and commitment to recognising nursing excellence on a global stage. The previous edition was held in Dubai, UAE, where Nurse Naomi Oyoe Ohene Oti was named the winner in recognition of her impactful contributions to cancer care and nursing education, which have influenced oncology nursing practices across Africa.
The award carries a total prize of USD 250,000 and honours nurses who demonstrate outstanding commitment, innovation, and compassionate service within their communities.
