The English College has launched a year-long partnership with Al Jalila Foundation to promote fundraising, health awareness, student leadership and community engagement throughout the academic year.
The partnership was officially marked by a visit from Shamma Alrafi, Director of Fundraising and Community Engagement; Carla Duarte, Director of Partnerships; and Dr Ahmad Alzarooni, Senior Manager of Fundraising and Business Development, to The English College.
Representatives from Al Jalila Foundation joined the schoolโs principal, Student Cabinet and English College Parents Council (ECPC) to sign a school pledge, formalising their shared commitment to community service and social responsibility.
The collaboration will involve student-led awareness and fundraising initiatives linked to events including Pink Day, Dubai 30×30, World Cancer Day, Ramadan and Earth Day. These activities will give students opportunities to develop fundraising ideas, support meaningful causes and engage with the wider community.
