PureHealth has retained the highest possible provisional environmental, social and governance (ESG) rating of AAA from MSCI for the second consecutive year, with an assessment score approximately 30% above the industry average. The recognition coincides with the publication of its 2025 Sustainability and Social Impact Report, outlining progress in environmental performance, community engagement, workforce development and economic contribution.

In 2025, the group reduced its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 11% compared with 2024 and commissioned its first on-site solar installation at SEHA Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohamed Medical City. The installation generated more than 1,000 MWh of clean electricity and avoided 330 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions.

PureHealth recorded AED 41 million in direct and indirect corporate social responsibility spending in the UAE, while community initiatives across its UAE and UK operations reached approximately 473,000 beneficiaries, an increase of 116% year-on-year. The group also pledged AED 50 million to the Life Endowment campaign, supporting treatment for vulnerable patients with chronic diseases.

Investment in people remained a key focus, with workforce training hours rising 30% to approximately 834,000. The group employed nearly 5,300 Emiratis, while women accounted for 66% of its workforce and 34% of leadership positions.

PureHealth also spent AED 3.76 billion with local suppliers, supporting the UAEโ€™s National In-Country Value programme and domestic supply chains.

Leya Aldamani, Chief Sustainability Officer, PureHealth, added: โ€œHuman health and the health of our planet are intrinsically connected. In 2025, we continued to translate this principle into measurable action, strengthening the systems and partnerships that support progress across our operations. From reducing emissions and advancing cleaner energy to developing our people and expanding access to care, our work reflects a practical, integrated approach to sustainability. These efforts are helping us embed responsible practices across the organisation and deliver lasting value for people, communities and the planet.โ€

The group received 10 sustainability and social impact awards and recognitions in 2025, including recognition at the Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders Summit Awards.
