Dubai, UAE: Aster DM Healthcare marked International Longevity Day with its โ€œBridging the Longevity Gapโ€ initiative in Dubai, bringing together healthcare experts to explore preventive health, personalised care and ways to support healthier living across different stages of life.

Held at Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz, the event featured discussions on how health data and personalised insights can help individuals make more informed decisions about their wellbeing. The programme also highlighted Dubaiโ€™s growing focus on longevity and preventive healthcare.

A key feature was the showcase of Thrive by myAster, a DHA-certified health assessment that analyses more than 100 biomarkers across multiple health systems. Available through the myAster app, the service combines health data with expert interpretation and personalised guidance to help users identify practical steps for improving their health.

โ€œLongevity is not simply about adding more years to life; it is about making those years healthier, more active and more meaningful. As healthcare evolves, we have an opportunity to help people understand their health earlier, make more informed choices and take a more proactive approach to their well-being. We stand aligned with Dubaiโ€™s ambition to shape the future of health and become a global centre for healthy longevity,โ€ said Ms. Alisha Moopen, Managing Director & Group CEO, Aster DM Healthcare.

The event also included experiences focused on movement, mobility, sleep, hydration, recovery and skin health, including VOโ‚‚ Max assessments, mobility activities and recovery sessions. Experts participating in the programme discussed personalised health, nutrition, genetics, physical activity, recovery and the responsible use of health data.

The initiative reflects Asterโ€™s broader focus on preventive and personalised healthcare, supporting individuals in understanding their health earlier and making informed choices for healthier years ahead.
