The inaugural Dubai Anesthesia Conference and Exhibition (DACE 2026) opened in Dubai, bringing together healthcare professionals and industry experts to discuss advances in anaesthesia, pain management, critical care and perioperative medicine.

Taking place at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre from September 5–6, the event has attracted more than 350 participants from 14 countries, alongside over 35 speakers and more than 20 participating companies.

The two-day conference features 10 scientific sessions, two workshops and 16 poster presentations, covering topics including enhanced recovery after surgery, pain management, precision anaesthesia, patient blood management, maternal emergencies and patient monitoring.

The opening day also included a Difficult Airway Management Workshop, providing practical training in airway assessment, oxygenation and intubation techniques for adult and paediatric patients. Industry-supported satellite sessions further explored developments relevant to clinical practice.

Day Two will focus on areas including cardiac risk during non-cardiac surgery, paediatric and regional anaesthesia, neuropathic pain, haemodynamic monitoring and emerging evidence in anaesthetic practice. An ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia workshop will provide additional hands-on learning.

Accredited by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for up to 27.5 CME credit hours, DACE 2026 combines scientific education with an exhibition featuring technologies and solutions for anaesthesia, monitoring, pain management and critical care.
