Sidra Medicine and Aman Hospital have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening healthcare collaboration and improving access to coordinated services for patients and families in Qatar.
The agreement will focus on developing stronger referral pathways between the two institutions, helping patients access complementary specialised services and supporting continuity of care. It also creates opportunities for healthcare professionals to participate in clinical education, continuing professional development, simulation training and knowledge-sharing programmes.

Ms. Caroline Kielty, Chief Nursing Officer at Aman Hospital, said: โAt Aman Hospital, we believe that meaningful collaboration between healthcare institutions is essential to delivering seamless, high-quality care for patients and families. Prof. Ibrahim Janahi, Chief Medical Officer at Sidra Medicine, said: โThis collaboration reflects our commitment to working closely with healthcare providers across Qatar to strengthen coordinated and patient-centered care. By bringing together our respective expertise and capabilities, we can support stronger care pathways, create meaningful opportunities for professional development and knowledge exchange, and enhance access to specialized services for patients and families. We look forward to building on this collaboration with Aman Hospital in support of Qatarโs healthcare system.โ
The collaboration builds on an existing relationship between the organisations. Aman Hospital previously became the first private hospital to sign a separate cord blood banking agreement with Sidra Medicine. Under that arrangement, eligible cord blood collected from babies delivered at Aman Hospital can be processed and stored at Sidra Medicineโs specialised facility, which operates Qatarโs only cord blood bank.
The new MoU is expected to support further cooperation between the two healthcare providers.
