ADCAN Pharma has entered into a strategic partnership with India-based Pinnacle Life Science Private Limited to support the local production of critical oncology medicines in the UAE.
Under the agreement, 12 oncology products will initially be licensed, followed by a phased transfer of manufacturing technology to ADCAN Pharma. The collaboration is aimed at strengthening the UAE’s domestic pharmaceutical capabilities and improving the reliability of supplies for essential cancer treatments.

The partnership is also expected to support faster availability of selected generic oncology medicines following the expiry of their market exclusivity, potentially allowing Day-1 launches after loss of exclusivity.

This will be followed by structured technology transfer, setting a strong benchmark for sustainable pharmaceutical collaborations in the Middle East.”
The initiative aligns with the UAE’s broader efforts to increase pharmaceutical localisation, strengthen healthcare supply chains and improve access to critical medicines. It also represents a step toward developing a more self-reliant and resilient pharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem in the country.
