ADCAN Pharma has entered into a strategic partnership with India-based Pinnacle Life Science Private Limited to support the local production of critical oncology medicines in the UAE.

Under the agreement, 12 oncology products will initially be licensed, followed by a phased transfer of manufacturing technology to ADCAN Pharma. The collaboration is aimed at strengthening the UAEโ€™s domestic pharmaceutical capabilities and improving the reliability of supplies for essential cancer treatments.

The partnership is also expected to support faster availability of selected generic oncology medicines following the expiry of their market exclusivity, potentially allowing Day-1 launches after loss of exclusivity.

Vishwa Savla, CEO, Pinnacle Life Science, said: โ€œOur partnership with ADCAN on this crucial oncology portfolio reflects our shared vision of making high-quality and affordable therapies more accessible to patients across the UAE and the wider Middle East. In the initial phase, we will jointly launch 12 key oncology products, combining ADCANโ€™s deep regional market expertise and commercial capabilities with Pinnacleโ€™s integrated API-to-finished-dose manufacturing platform and US FDA-approved manufacturing standards. This will be followed by structured technology transfer, setting a strong benchmark for sustainable pharmaceutical collaborations in the Middle East.โ€

The initiative aligns with the UAEโ€™s broader efforts to increase pharmaceutical localisation, strengthen healthcare supply chains and improve access to critical medicines. It also represents a step toward developing a more self-reliant and resilient pharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem in the country.

Mr Hamdan Aldahmani, Chairman, ADCAN Pharma, said: โ€œOur agreement with Pinnacle reflects our long-standing commitment to advancing pharmaceutical localisation and healthcare security in the UAE. The partnership strengthens our domestic capabilities to manufacture critical medicines, thereby supporting the development of patient-centric critical care.

Fokion Sinis, Chief Executive Officer of ADCAN Pharma, said: โ€œThe partnership helps broaden ADCANโ€™s oncology portfolio by establishing a robust framework for advanced technology transfer. Collaborating with experienced international pharmaceutical partners is also integral to scaling our commercial capabilities while fulfilling a broader healthcare commitment โ€“ bringing complex, life-saving cancer therapies closer to patients across the UAE.โ€
