The 13th International Family Medicine Conference & Exhibition (IFM 2026) has opened at Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together more than 900 healthcare professionals and participants from 10 countries to discuss developments in family medicine and preventive healthcare.
The three-day event features more than 45 speakers, over 18 scientific sessions and 70 scientific posters. Participants can also earn up to 21 CME credits through the scientific programme. The conference focuses on strengthening prevention, early detection and patient-centred care, highlighting the growing role of family medicine as a foundation for community health and sustainable healthcare systems.
Topics covered during the programme include artificial intelligence and wearable devices, travel medicine, longevity and brain health, cardiometabolic diseases, cancer detection, gut health, womenโs health, diabetes and obesity, addiction and functional medicine.

Sessions on the opening day explored areas including TKTL1-based cancer detection, AI-enabled cardiac arrhythmia screening, evidence-based functional medicine, and approaches to autism and ADHD. The event also features a specialised exhibition showcasing healthcare and medical technology organisations, alongside scientific research presented by physicians and students.
The conference is organised by IINDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Org., a member of INDEX Holding, and provides a platform for healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and explore innovations that can support improved health outcomes.
