Dubai Health has announced a strategic collaboration with Rush University System for Health, one of the leading academic healthcare systems in the United States, to advance quality of care, improve patient outcomes, and foster continuous learning through international best practices.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Amer Sharif, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Health and President of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Dr. Omar Lateef, President and CEO of Rush University System for Health and Rush University Medical Center, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Alawi AlSheikh-Ali, Director General of Dubai Health Authority.

Under the collaboration, the two organizations will work together across clinical programs and care models, quality and patient safety, performance management, digital health, research, innovation, education, training, and workforce development in medicine, nursing, allied health, and leadership.
Dr. Amer Sharif said “the partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing healthcare through knowledge exchange and collaboration, while supporting better patient outcomes, developing healthcare talent, and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global healthcare destination.”
Dr. Omar Lateef said “the collaboration creates new opportunities to strengthen safety, quality, and the patient experience through a global exchange of best practices. He added that both organizations will benefit from mutual learning, with patients ultimately gaining the greatest advantage from the partnership.”
