United Arab Emirates: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has once again showcased the country’s compassionate spirit. In notable action, he has directed UAE hospitals to provide medical treatment to 1,000 Palestinian children, along with their families, hailing from the Gaza Strip. This gracious act is part of the UAE’s abiding commitment to extending assistance to those in need around the world.
ย
The heartwarming announcement came during a phone call between H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mirjana Spoljaric, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
ย
This initiative to host children from the Gaza Strip, offering them essential medical treatment before safely returning them to their homes, is a evidence to the UAE’s determined efforts to provide relief assistance to the Palestinian people, with a special focus on children. It serves as a response to the dire humanitarian conditions they are currently facing.
