The Emirates Classification Society (TASNEEF) has signed a 10-year exclusive global partnership agreement with the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM) to implement the IFEM Emergency Department Certification Programme worldwide.
Signed during the International Conference on Emergency Medicine in Hamburg, the agreement designates TASNEEF, through TASNEEF-RINA Business Assurance, as the exclusive global certification partner for the program. The initiative aims to establish internationally recognized standards for evaluating emergency departments, with a focus on patient safety, operational efficiency, governance, and quality of care.

The partnership will support healthcare institutions and national authorities in adopting best practices and improving emergency care outcomes. It also strengthens TASNEEF’s global presence in healthcare certification while reinforcing the UAE’s role in advancing international healthcare quality standards.
