The Health Holding Company has announced the launch of the “Taakkad” initiative and the start of beneficiary services, marking the rollout of a first-of-its-kind preventive healthcare model in Saudi Arabia. Implemented across all health clusters in Riyadh, the initiative aims to deliver accurate, fast, and reliable periodic medical screenings, strengthening preventive care and improving access to health services in line with the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030.

The initiative represents the Kingdom’s first innovative national network dedicated to periodic health screening. It is designed to simplify access to a wide range of preventive medical services and support early detection through integrated and structured screening pathways. Services are provided through a drive-through model, enabling efficient and convenient coverage of key health indicators.
Preventive screening pathways under the “Taakkad” initiative include checks for diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and lipid disorders, as well as screenings for osteoporosis, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer. In addition, the programme offers advanced screening tracks focused on proteomics, lifestyle assessment, and genomics, reflecting a more comprehensive and forward-looking approach to preventive health. Appointments can be booked through the Sehhaty application at designated “Ta’akkad for Your Health” centres.
The initiative is part of broader efforts within the national healthcare system to reinforce the principle of prevention before treatment and to position healthcare providers as trusted partners in supporting individuals’ long-term health and well-being. It aligns closely with the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Quality of Life Program, both of which aim to build a vibrant society with a sustainable quality of life.
The Health Holding Company is a national entity responsible for delivering integrated healthcare services through 20 health clusters across Saudi Arabia. Operating under the Saudi healthcare model, it places individuals at the centre of care, promotes a transformative approach to service delivery, strengthens preventive care, and enhances access to healthcare services, supporting the broader objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
