Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Healthcare services in Saudi Arabia now reach 97 percent of population centres, reflecting the Kingdomโs continued efforts to expand access and strengthen healthcare delivery across its regions.
The progress is supported by an extensive healthcare network comprising 20 health clusters, approximately 2,000 primary healthcare centres and 44,000 hospital beds distributed across the country. The expansion aligns with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program, which aims to improve service quality, efficiency and accessibility.

The Kingdom has also reported that 90 percent of patients receive emergency or urgent care within four hours. Meanwhile, intensive care capacity stands at 15 beds per 100,000 people.
These developments highlight Saudi Arabiaโs focus on strengthening healthcare infrastructure, expanding digital health services and improving access to timely medical care across its cities and regions.
