Amend Surgical has entered into an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with MLM Biologics to advance development of its NanoFUSEยฎ Bioactive Plug, a regenerative solution being developed to support bone growth and reduce complications following tooth extractions.
The NanoFUSEยฎ Bioactive Plug combines pro-regenerative and antimicrobial properties in a single solution designed to support healing and protect the surgical site during socket preservation procedures.
Under the agreement, Amend Surgical has secured exclusive global rights to MLM Biologicsโ proprietary collagen technology, manufacturing processes and related technical expertise for dental applications.

The licensed technology will support development of the NanoFUSE Bioactive Plug and may enable additional applications across the companyโs regenerative dentistry portfolio.
The new product complements existing solutions including NanoFUSEยฎ Bioactive Matrix and Amend Tissue Tapeยฎ, expanding the platform across bone regeneration, socket preservation, soft-tissue management and infection control.

MLM Biologics will manufacture intermediate product for Amend Surgical during the first five years of the agreement and provide support for product development, regulatory activities and commercial scale-up.
