Dr Anoop Mansoor

Interventional Cardiologist, AI in Medicine Advocate

Overview

Dr Anoop Mansoor is a senior interventional cardiologist with over two decades of experience spanning clinical excellence, healthcare leadership, and medical innovation. He is recognised for combining advanced cardiac care with a strong focus on systems improvement, ethical technology use, and patient-centred practice.

Clinically, Dr Mansoor has performed more than 2,000 complex cardiac procedures, including primary angioplasty for acute heart attacks, complex coronary interventions, robotic-assisted PCI, and advanced intravascular imaging. He is also experienced in cardiac CT coronary angiography and procedural planning for complex structural interventions such as TAVR. His clinical practice is defined by precision, safety, and calm decision-making in high-pressure environments.

Dr Mansoor’s leadership experience extends well beyond direct patient care. As former Deputy Clinical Director of the STEMI Centre of Excellence at Al Qassimi Hospital, he played a central role in achieving JCI Accreditation in 2020. This milestone reflected sustained improvements in emergency cardiac pathways, reductions in in-hospital complications, and consistent performance above international benchmarks for acute myocardial infarction care.

He is a strong advocate for responsible healthcare innovation. Dr Mansoor has led initiatives in electronic medical record implementation, AI-supported cardiac imaging, and clinical process optimisation. He is the founder of NADI, a healthcare innovation initiative focused on integrating technology, leadership, and compassionate care into scalable healthcare solutions.

In addition to cardiology, Dr Mansoor is actively involved in regenerative medicine research. His work includes collaborations in stem cell therapy for cardiovascular disease and current research focused on stem cell applications in spinal cord injury. These efforts reflect his commitment to advancing evidence-based, ethical regenerative therapies that offer hope in conditions with limited conventional treatment options.

Dr Mansoor is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI) and the Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (FAPSIC), recognising his contributions to interventional cardiology at a global level. He is also the author of The Healing Algorithm: How AI can Humanise Healthcare, where he advocates for technology that supports, rather than replaces, human care.

At the core of Dr Mansoor’s work is a simple principle: modern medicine must unite clinical skill, thoughtful leadership, and compassion to truly serve patients.
