Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) and Tata Elxsi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop next-generation healthcare solutions by combining clinical research, biomedical sciences, and advanced engineering expertise.

The collaboration will leverage SCTIMST’s strengths in cardiovascular sciences, neurosciences, biotechnology, and clinical research with Tata Elxsi’s capabilities in product engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), digital technologies, and design.

The partnership will focus on developing innovations across medical devices, diagnostics, medical imaging, digital health, and biomedical engineering, supporting healthcare needs in India and global markets.

The MoU also establishes a framework for joint research, technology development, academic collaboration, and intellectual property creation, with initial efforts targeting high-potential MedTech innovations.
