Jersey City Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health hospital announced that the American Hospital Association (AHA) presented the Medical Center with a plaque in appreciation for its 75 years of participation and leadership in the AHA.
AHA Regional Executive Michael Draine presented the award to Jersey City Medical Centerโs President and CEO Jonathan P. Kyriacou on May 19, with staff from across the organization present.
The American Hospital Association is proud to recognize Jersey City Medical Center for 75 years of membership and continued commitment to quality care said AHA Regional Executive Michael Draine.

Jonathan P. Kyriacou, President and CEO of Jersey City Medical Center, accepted the 75-year membership award from the American Hospital Association.

Jersey City Medical Center, a 348-bed hospital established in 1882, serves Hudson County and is home to the regionโs only Level II Trauma Center and open-heart surgery program. The Medical Center has received multiple national recognitions including Magnet designation and top safety and maternity awards.
