Armor Health, a provider of correctional healthcare services, has launched the Prevention, Accountability, Treatment & Healing (PATH) Program at Stark County Jail in Canton, Ohio, in partnership with the Stark County Sheriffโs Office. Introduced in July, the 30-day programme supports court-ordered participants through treatment planning, counselling, behavioural health support, accountability measures and reentry preparation.
The initiative is designed to address challenges that can contribute to repeated involvement with the justice system while helping participants develop practical tools for long-term stability. The first group of participants successfully completed the programme and graduated in August 2026.

“PATH is designed to be more than a period of incarceration; it creates an opportunity for individuals to access treatment and prepare for life after release,” said Kelley Beckett of Armor Health. “By addressing substance use, mental health, personal responsibility, and reentry needs, we are helping participants build a stronger foundation for long-term stability.”
PATH provides individualized support based on each participantโs needs. Services include treatment planning, access to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders and connections to community resources to help participants continue receiving care after release.

The programme combines rehabilitation with accountability and aims to strengthen pathways to recovery and successful community reintegration.
“Programs like PATH strengthen the safety and wellbeing of our entire community,” said Stark County Sheriff Eric Weisburn. “When individuals receive treatment, structure, and real support while in custody, they’re far more prepared to return home in a stable and constructive way. Investing in this kind of rehabilitation ultimately makes Stark County a safer and healthier place for all of us,” added the Sheriff.
