Dubai, UAE- Registration is now open for Dubai Ride 2024, presented by DP World, offering a chance for cyclists of all ages and abilities to ride through some of Dubai’s most famous landmarks. Set to take place on Sunday, November 10, this highly anticipated event is part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge and is expected to attract thousands of participants.
Cycling for all abilities
Now in its fifth edition, Dubai Ride gives participants the opportunity to explore the city from unique perspectives. Two routes will be available:
12km Ride on Sheikh Zayed Road: This scenic route will take cyclists past Dubai’s architectural wonders, including the Burj Khalifa, Museum of the Future, and Dubai Opera.
4km Family Ride through Downtown Dubai: A more relaxed option for families and casual cyclists, offering a chance to enjoy a leisurely ride through some of the city’s most famous areas.
Introducing Dubai Ride Speed Laps
For more experienced cyclists, the new Dubai Ride Speed Laps offers a thrilling challenge. This event is open to participants aged 21 and over and will be held from 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM along the 12km Sheikh Zayed Road route. Cyclists are required to maintain a speed of at least 30km/h, with specific instructions from event marshals to ensure safety. Registration for the Speed Laps opens on October 14, separate from the main event.

How to register and what to expect
Cyclists can register now for Dubai Ride, while Speed Laps registration opens soon. Participants will collect their bibs from the 30 x 30 Fitness Village in Zabeel Park, and organizers will announce collection dates later. Both Dubai Ride and Speed Laps require separate bibs, and details on bib pick-up will follow in the coming weeks.
