Both ministries agreed to introduce a unified digital system for pricing medical services in collaboration with insurance companies. The initiative is expected to improve transparency and make healthcare services more accessible for tourists.
The officials also agreed to enhance medical guidance in hotel clinics, strengthen hygiene and sterilization standards, and introduce a rapid-response support mechanism under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Health.
Fathy praised the Health Ministry’s efforts and emphasized that stronger coordination between both ministries is essential to improving healthcare services for tourists and reinforcing Egypt’s standing as a leading international tourism destination.
Senior officials from both ministries attended the meeting, including representatives from international relations, hotel facilities, and licensing departments.
