The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) announces the appointment of Dr. Omar Mustafa as its new Global Vice President. Dr. Mustafa succeeds Dr. Mumtaz Patel, who assumed the role of Senior Censor and Vice President for Education and Training in August.
Dr. Omar Mustafa, a consultant physician in diabetes and general internal medicine at King’s College Hospital in London, has been an RCP Global Associate Global Director for the Middle East and North Africa since September 2021. He is enthusiastic about advancing medical education in the Middle East and North Africa through RCP Global initiatives. His appointment as Global Vice President reflects the potential for further development and innovation in global engagement and projects.
