Dr. Seidah was recognised for his distinguished medical and research contributions in the field of cardiovascular health, particularly his groundbreaking work on cholesterol regulation. His research has played a critical role in advancing the understanding of cardiovascular diseases, contributing to improved prevention and treatment strategies worldwide.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Seidah reflected on the guiding principle that shaped his journey, noting that his fatherโ€™s belief that knowledge is something no one can take away has remained central to his career. He described the recognition as a powerful motivation for Arab scientists to continue contributing to science and to serve as role models for future generations.

The Medicine award was selected by a specialised committee chaired by His Excellency Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health and President of the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Seidahโ€™s recognition underscores the growing global influence of Arab scientists in advancing medical research and innovation.
