Dubai, UAE- December 2023- The Arab Health Congress has joined hands with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to present the Public Health Conference, a comprehensive exploration into the future of healthcare. Taking place from January 29–30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the conference will showcase the latest technologies, healthcare advances, and expert insights in public and population health.
Under the theme ‘Uniting for enhanced local and global public health,’ the conference will feature global healthcare leaders sharing insights into the latest findings and recommendations in the fields of public and population health. Dr. Ramadan Alblooshi, Director at DHA’s Public Health & Protection Department and conference chair, will kick off the event with a keynote speech, discussing the evolving landscape of public health.
The conference will cover a multitude of topics, including healthier lifestyles, occupational and environmental health, innovations in public health, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and public health crisis and disaster management.
International perspectives will be shared by Ronald Lavater, CEO of the International Hospital Federation, focusing on innovations and sustainability in the hospital sector. Prof Duncan Selbie, President of the International Association of Public Health Institutes (IANPHI), will explore the changing landscape for public health institutes.
