March 2026- Reinforcing its commitment to community wellbeing, the Department of Health โ Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the emirateโs healthcare sector, has introduced a dedicated round-the-clock mental health support hotline in partnership with Sakina, a prominent mental health network operating under SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth.
The hotline, available at 800-SAKINA or 800-725462, provides psychological first aid and immediate access to qualified mental health professionals for compassionate and direct support. It operates in both Arabic and English to ensure broad accessibility across the community, including tailored assistance for children and families.

Residents can reach out for support related to anxiety, panic, stress, sleep disturbances, or other mental health concerns. Individuals already living with mental health conditions can also receive guidance on managing their wellbeing during periods of heightened anxiety or change.
Her Excellency Dr Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of DoH, said: โBy activating the 800-SAKINA hotline, we are ensuring that every member of our community has timely, trusted mental health support whenever they need it. We remain close to our community, listening to their concerns and responding quickly with practical help. No concern is too small to discuss, support is available around the clock, and Abu Dhabiโs health system continues to operate safely and effectively for all community members.โ
