Abu Dhabi Biobank and California-based BioTwin have formalised a strategic partnership to deploy virtual human twin technology across the UAE, targeting early disease detection and precision health as primary applications.
The agreement was unveiled during the BIO International Convention 2026 in San Diego, bringing together BioTwin’s biomarker analysis platform and AI-driven modeling with Abu Dhabi Biobank’s integrated repository of biological, genomic, and clinical data. The first use case under the collaboration will centre on multi-cancer screening, with scope to extend into preventive care and personalised health management over time.

Abu Dhabi Biobank operates as a joint initiative between the Department of Health Abu Dhabi and healthcare group M42. BioTwin’s technology uses home-based blood sample collection combined with continuous biomarker tracking and AI modeling to build longitudinal health profiles for individuals.
Officials from both organisations framed the tie-up as an opportunity to move healthcare delivery away from treating illness after onset toward identifying risk earlier and intervening at a population level.
