Abu Dhabi Biobank has partnered with AstraZeneca to leverage genomic research and clinical expertise to accelerate precision medicine and real-world healthcare innovation.
Abu Dhabi Biobank, a strategic initiative of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi in collaboration with M42, has announced a new partnership with AstraZeneca to strengthen biomedical innovation in the region. The collaboration is aimed at advancing precision medicine and accelerating the translation of clinical research into everyday medical practice.

The partnership combines Abu Dhabi Biobank’s advanced biobanking capabilities and genomic infrastructure with AstraZeneca’s global expertise across cardiovascular, renal, metabolic, respiratory, immunology, and oncology therapeutic areas. Through this collaboration, both parties seek to convert complex biological data into practical healthcare solutions with the potential to significantly improve patient outcomes.
