Abu Dhabi has introduced three air-conditioned walking facilities to help residents and visitors remain physically active during the emirateโs hot summer months. The facilities are located at Al Khalidiyah Park, Al Mamoura Walkway and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Park. The initiative is designed to make walking more comfortable and accessible while encouraging healthier lifestyles and greater use of public spaces.
The walking tracks use cooling systems to provide a more suitable environment for exercise despite high temperatures and humidity. Al Khalidiyah Parkโs 660-metre walkway maintains a temperature of around 25ยฐC, while the track at King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Park extends for approximately 700 metres.
