PureHealth has partnered with the Family Development Foundation to launch Healthy Horizons, an outreach initiative focused on preventive care, healthy ageing and digital health inclusion for Emirati senior citizens in Abu Dhabi.
The programme is delivered in collaboration with Emirates Foundation, Active Abu Dhabi, SEHA, SEHA CLINICS, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) and SAKINA. It combines specialist-led workshops, free preventive screenings and guided physical activities to support early risk detection, timely intervention and continuity of care.
Healthy Horizons addresses key health priorities for older adults, including geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, vision health, sleep quality and mental wellbeing. Participants also receive practical guidance and pathways to appropriate healthcare services within the PureHealth network.

Fatima Aziz Al Marzouqi, Social Clubs Officer at Barakat Al Dar, part of the Family Development Foundation, said “the organisation is committed to delivering services and programmes that support the mental and physical well-being of senior citizens and residents. The initiative improves access to high-quality healthcare, making it faster and more responsive to individual needs.”
The initiative includes assisted digital onboarding to Pura, PureHealthโs AI-powered health companion, helping senior citizens access healthcare services and remain connected to ongoing care.

Initial community activities are already underway, with free preventive screenings and digital health support being provided to participants. 54 trained PureHeroes volunteers have contributed more than 270 service hours, strengthening the initiativeโs community-based approach.
