Accenture has agreed to acquire Alfahealth, a subsidiary of Engineering Group, in a move aimed at expanding its digital health capabilities and accelerating healthcare transformation across Italy.

Alfahealth brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare technology, supporting clinical workflows, diagnostics, patient journeys, and administrative processes through its services-plus-product model. The company also contributes approximately 1,200 specialized professionals to Accentureโs Health practice in Italy.

The acquisition will enhance Accentureโs ability to help healthcare organizations modernize operations, improve data interoperability, and deliver more connected, personalized, and AI-driven healthcare services. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
