Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital is providing comprehensive medical support to several Arab national teams competing at the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
As a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence, Aspetar offers fitness assessments, medical screenings, injury prevention, rehabilitation programmes, and sports medicine expertise to teams including Iraq, Algeria, Jordan, and Qatar. The hospital has also supported players from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco through its collaborations with clubs and football associations.

Seven Aspetar experts are part of Iraq’s official delegation, while Jordan and Algeria continue to benefit from tailored medical and rehabilitation programmes. Aspetar’s National Teams Unit is also overseeing medical care for Qatar’s national team throughout the tournament.
The hospital’s support aims to maintain player fitness, optimise performance, and reduce injury risks as Arab teams compete on football’s biggest stage.
