Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reviewed Abu Dhabiโ€™s emergency medical response system and praised healthcare teams for their readiness and efforts in treating those injured following recent Iranian attacks targeting the UAE.

March 2026- Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, reviewed the emergency preparedness and response framework at the Unified Medical Operations Command Centre in Abu Dhabi.Click here to join our WhatsApp channel here

During the visit, His Highness received a comprehensive briefing on the emirateโ€™s medical emergency response system, including the different operational stages and procedures used to support medical teams treating injured individuals. He also reviewed the availability of strategic medical stockpiles across the emirate, which help ensure the healthcare sector can operate efficiently and maintain high standards of care during exceptional circumstances and emergencies.

His Highness commended the dedication and efforts of medical, administrative and technical personnel from both public and private sector entities who are working around the clock with a high level of professionalism and readiness to provide care for those injured in the recent Iranian attacks targeting the UAE.

He also praised the strong sense of responsibility and commitment shown by healthcare professionals and frontline workers responding to the situation.

Sheikh Khaled highlighted that Abu Dhabiโ€™s integrated healthcare system and advanced emergency response capabilities demonstrate the emirateโ€™s strong preparedness. He emphasised that the UAE leadership remains committed to further strengthening these capabilities through continuous development of healthcare infrastructure and enhanced coordination among relevant entities to ensure rapid and effective emergency responses while safeguarding community safety and wellbeing.

Officials and personnel at the Unified Medical Operations Command Centre expressed appreciation for the visit, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining the highest levels of readiness and national solidarity during challenging circumstances. They also expressed wishes for the continued stability, security and prosperity of the UAE, its leadership, citizens and residents.
