Dr. Zoubir Boudi is a leading Emergency Medicine Consultant and Head of the Emergency Department at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Dubai. A French board-certified physician with more than 10 years of international experience, he has practiced in France, Monaco, the UK, and the UAE, earning recognition as both a resilient front-liner and a strategic healthcare leader.
He received his entire medical training, from the age of 18 through to his board certification in emergency medicine, within France’s renowned healthcare system, where he built expertise in trauma, critical care, and prehospital emergency medicine. Since relocating to Dubai in 2018, he has become a pivotal figure in emergency care reform, blending hands-on clinical excellence with visionary leadership.
His career reflects a powerful fusion of clinical, academic, and managerial expertise. Dr. Boudi holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from Birmingham City University (UK) and several postgraduate diplomas in emergency medicine, pediatric emergencies, resuscitation, and ultrasound. He further strengthened his expertise through international certifications, including the Leadership Essentials Course at Harvard Medical School’s IEDLI. He also holds the EQUIP Certificate in Emergency Medicine Quality Improvement from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians. Fluent in French, Arabic, and English, he leads effectively across cultures in both clinical and academic environments.
As former Chair of the Academic Affairs Department and current Director of the Life Support Center, Dr. Boudi has transformed training programs, achieved international accreditations, and driven both educational and financial growth. As an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Sharjah, he balances frontline care with academic mentorship, advancing medical education through research and teaching.
A recognized authority in healthcare quality and safety, he serves as Secretary of the European Society of Emergency Medicine’s Working Group on Quality & Safety and as a member of the Dubai Health Authority’s oral licensing panel. His peer-reviewed publications, spanning emergency department quality, safety, overcrowding, geriatric triage, and teamwork, underscore his dedication to evidence-based improvement.
