The RCSI Medical University of Bahrain celebrated its strong and growing relationships with the Ambassadors of Kuwait and Oman. Professor Sameer Otoom, President of the university, welcomed His Excellency Shaikh Thamer Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Ambassador of Kuwait to Bahrain, to review the progress of Kuwaiti medical students enrolled in collaboration with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education and the development of Kuwaiti medical graduates currently undergoing training worldwide.

In a similar gesture, Professor Otoom hosted His Excellency Mr. Faisal Bin Harib Al Busaidi, newly appointed Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain, to discuss the status of Omani medical students, including those sponsored by the Omani Ministry of Higher Education.

RCSI Medical University of Bahrain has a tradition of annually welcoming undergraduate students from Kuwait and Oman. It offers them access to high-quality transnational medical and health sciences education. This approach is accompanied by a rich and vibrant student experience.

This academic year, the university opened its doors to over 400 new students representing 53 nationalities. Of these, 314 students joined the medical undergraduate program through two different entry points. And also 123 students enrolled in the nursing undergraduate program.
