The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has achieved a significant milestone with a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Thumbay Group. This strengthens the emirate’s position in medical tourism. Signed in May, the MoU lays the foundation for a collaborative effort to make Ajman a premier destination for healthcare.
 
This collaboration involves ADTD’s active participation in local and international medical conferences and exhibitions. Their goal is to raise awareness and promote medical tourism in Ajman. An exceptional highlight of this partnership was the recent visit of eminent doctors from India. This visit was part of a successful promotional roadshow in India. The initiative resulted in the arrival of the first group of patients from Nigeria. ADTD provided crucial logistical and visa support to simplify administrative procedures.
 
Under the guidance of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, Thumbay Group is offering exclusive incentives to employees and guests of hotel establishments in Ajman. This initiative is effective from October 3 and will run for a full year. This move underlines their sustained commitment to advancing medical tourism in Ajman. It provides unique therapeutic experiences and ensures high-quality healthcare services for the local community and visitors.
