WHO/Europe and Healthcare Denmark have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation on digital health, health data, artificial intelligence (AI), and health system innovation across the WHO European Region.
The agreement will promote knowledge sharing, technical exchanges, webinars, study visits, and collaboration on evidence-based digital health solutions. WHO/Europe will provide technical expertise, while Healthcare Denmark will share Denmarkโs experience in building data-driven healthcare systems and implementing digital health technologies.

Key areas of collaboration include digital transformation, health information systems, data analytics, and AI in healthcare, aligned with WHOโs Regional Digital Health Action Plan 2023โ2030.
The partnership, which runs until June 2031, aims to support countries in strengthening healthcare systems through innovation while ensuring transparency, equity, and responsible use of technology.
