HE Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), has emphasized the UAE’s leadership in establishing an integrated organ donation system that prioritizes community health and well-being. Guided by the nation’s wise leadership and aligned with the “We the UAE 2031” vision, MoHAP is advancing a future-ready healthcare system that delivers exceptional specialized care to ensure the well-being of all citizens.
Humanitarian initiative
The National Program for Donation and Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissue, ‘Hayat,’ is fundamentally a humanitarian initiative. Also, It plays a key role in raising awareness about the significance of organ donation as a heroic act that embodies the essence of humanitarian giving and offers the gift of life.

HE Al Olama emphasized the MoHAP’s commitment to implementing sustainable organ donation plans, focusing on raising community awareness about its importance and positive impact on patients and their families.
