UAE health authorities highlighted the availability of confidential mental health support hotlines offering professional listening and guidance across the country.
March 2026-The Ministry of Health and Prevention has highlighted the availability of dedicated mental health support lines across the UAE, providing confidential listening, guidance, and professional assistance.
In a recent social media post, the ministry noted that during challenging times people may sometimes feel overwhelmed or need someone to listen, emphasizing that mental health remains a foundation for a cohesive and stable society.

The support lines are available in collaboration with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and Emirates Health Services, offering individuals access to specialists with complete confidentiality and a high level of professionalism.
Under the “Speak, We’re Listening” initiative by Emirates Health Services, support is available through the hotline 8008877. In Abu Dhabi, the Department of Health, in collaboration with Sakina, provides a dedicated mental health support line at 800725462.
