The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) in the Sultanate of Oman has officially scheduled the crescent moon sighting for the holy month of Ramadan 1446 AH. The observation will take place on the evening of Friday, the 29th of Sha’ban 1446 AH, which corresponds to February 28, 2025.

As part of its commitment to community engagement in religious affairs, the ministry invites the public to participate in the sighting and report their observations to the relevant authorities.
