Qatarโs Ministry of Public Health concluded its third Public Health Sector Football Tournament, using sport, teamwork, and wellness activities to strengthen employee wellbeing, collaboration, and a healthier work environment across the healthcare sector.
April 2026- The Ministry of Public Health in Qatar concluded the third Public Health Sector Football Tournament, bringing together 40 teams from different healthcare institutions to promote teamwork, employee wellbeing, and healthy competition.
The Food Safety Department team won the championship after defeating the Primary Health Care Corporation team 3โ1 in the final, while Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital secured third place with a 4โ1 win over Naufar Center.

The tournament also included virtual health workshops, awareness booths, and educational activities aimed at encouraging physical activity and strengthening collaboration among healthcare professionals.
Organized under the โEmployee Wellbeing and Wellness Program,โ the initiative supports the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of healthcare workers in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the National Health Strategy 2024โ2030. Officials highlighted the eventโs role in improving teamwork, workplace communication, and employee satisfaction across the healthcare sector.
