The International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA) delivered a statement at the 2026 UN High-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS in New York, reaffirming support for global efforts to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.

In its address, IFPMA welcomed the Political Declaration adopted by Member States and emphasized the need for country-led, evidence-based implementation strategies to sustain progress in HIV prevention, treatment, and care. The organization noted that while significant advances have been achieved, continued political commitment, funding, and collaboration remain essential.
