PureHealth has launched the SEHA National Fellowship Programme in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery to develop Emirati specialists and strengthen the UAEโs capabilities in fertility care. The programme will be delivered at SEHA Tawam Fertility Centre in Al Ain and SEHA Corniche Fertility Centre in Abu Dhabi.
The three-year, board-recognised fellowship provides hands-on training in clinical practice, fertility surgery, assisted reproductive technologies, research and leadership. It is designed exclusively for Emirati physicians, preparing them to deliver specialised reproductive healthcare and support couples experiencing infertility.

Accredited jointly by the National Institute for Health Specialties and the Department of Health โ Abu Dhabi, the programme is the UAEโs first reproductive medicine fellowship for Emirati physicians to receive joint accreditation. Graduates will be licensed as specialists in reproductive medicine and infertility in the UAE.

The curriculum also includes research opportunities in precision medicine, including the use of population-specific genomic insights relevant to the UAE. Fellows will train within an integrated clinical model connecting reproductive medicine with genetics, assisted reproduction, maternity and neonatal services.

The initiative supports the development of a locally trained specialist workforce and aims to strengthen long-term expertise within the UAE healthcare system. It also aligns with Abu Dhabiโs Family Wellbeing Strategy and the National Family Growth Agenda 2031.
