The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) recently concluded a three-day National Workshop on Strengthening Health System Response to Violence in collaboration with WHO and UNICEF. Held in Dubai from September 26th to 28th, the workshop aimed to align with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, national legislation, and priorities.
Distinguished figures, including HE Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, attended the event. The workshop’s primary goal was to formulate an action plan to strengthen the health system’s role in responding to violence, emphasizing collaboration with strategic partners.
Dr. Al Rand emphasized MoHAP’s commitment to delivering top-tier healthcare and promoting health rights for women and children to achieve sustainable development goals. The collaborative event aims to enhance healthcare services and competitiveness in the healthcare field in the UAE. MoHAP collaborates with various government partners and stakeholders in this initiative.
