Michael E. D’Eramo, DHA, MHA, ACI, has accepted an appointment as a Community Scholar with the Institute for Rural Health (IRH) at Western Kentucky University. In this role, D’Eramo will collaborate with IRH on research, workforce, and strategic initiatives, contributing his expertise in healthcare administration and physician leadership. The appointment is designed to strengthen partnerships between academic and community health leaders to advance rural health across the region.

“I am incredibly honored to be the first appointment as Community Scholar with the Institute for Rural Health,” said D’Eramo. “It is my hope to provide some degree of academic contribution to a wonderfully evolving program within WKU’s College of Health and Human Services.”
