Dubai, UAE- January 24, 2025- The KLAS Middle East Summit 2025 opened yesterday in Dubai, UAE – KLAS’ second annual summit in the region. It brings together healthcare leaders from the GCC region for a day of collaboration and learning. Discussions centred around top organizational priorities by leveraging ongoing KLAS research covering regional healthcare IT investment trends, the revenue cycle landscape and priorities, organizational cloud readiness, and other IT opportunities. The goal is to create better synergy between providers, vendors, and policymakers by bringing transparency and facilitating discussion around the most critical challenges facing the industry in the Middle East today. Ideas and discussions from these sessions will result in a published summit brief that will also be supplied to local health ministries to bring further transparency to the challenges facing the industry.
Keynote speakers include Dr. Ahmed Eissa UAE Group CEO at Saudi German Health (SGH), and Scott Arnold, EVP and Chief Digital and Innovation Officer, Florida Health Sciences Center – Tampa General USF. Health Insights and Sectra honoured at the Summit with Global Best in KLAS 2025 awards for the Middle East/Africa region. Health Insights won Best in KLAS in the Acute Care EHR – Middle East/Africa category for its MEDiCACLOUDCARE solution and Sectra won Best in KLAS in the PACS Middle East/Africa category for its PACS solution.
